A Court of Silver Flames (A Court of Thorns and Roses Series #4) by Sarah J. Maas, Hardcover | Barnes & NobleĀ®

In the last book of a Court of Thorns and Roses series, a Court of Silver Flames, follows the story of a proud, and stubborn, Nesta Archeron, as she battles herself against sorrow, fear, and anger. Nesta still hasn't gotten past the terrors of what occurred in the war and all with Hybern, or forgiven herself for her actions. Now with the cruel human queens reforming a new alliance, Prythian seems to be in danger of another stirring war, and Nesta may be the only one who can seek the answer to stopping it.

While Nesta is still managing her problems, she is forced to spend an awfully long time with Cassian, the scarred llyrian warrior. And as Cassian is a close member of Rhysand and Feyre’s Night Court, he is trusted to watch over and “help” Nesta. Even though the two share a burning passion for one another, they aren't sure where they stand. Despite their differences, Nesta and Cassian must work together through many treacherous situations, and face both their pasts to concur the future world.

To be honest when I first heard that Sarah J. Maas was publishing another book in the ACOTAR series, I was ecstatic-but I was also wry due to the fact that this book was narrated, and mostly focused on the views of Nesta and Cassian’s lives. I felt this way because all of the other books in the ACOTAR series had been written through the eyes of Feyre Archeron- Nesta’s younger sister. Though, after reading this book, I couldn’t have been more wrong about my doubts! It was very heart-warming, and kind of relatable to learn about the battles Nesta faced, and why she acted the way she did, but also about the way she healed and found the missing pieces of her life.

A Court of Silver Flames is a lush, beautifully detailed, fantasy! I was blushing and gasping the whole time, while I dove through the book. The plot twists and characters throughout the ACOTAR series will always remind me of triumph and how to find the ones you love, to overcome it.

I recommend a Court of Silver Flames to readers who have read the other books of the ACOTAR series, and lovers of Jennifer L. Armentrout’s From Blood and Ash series. This book seriously has an incredible ending, and wraps up the series beautifully, go read it now!
